First Mic
How to Not Flop?
"How to Not Flop MUN" is a workshop series recorded, edited, and ran by Cheng Xin Leong and Bernice Yim, who served as SONMUN's first Secretary General and Deputy Secretary General for the 2024, 2025, and 2026 iterations. It was first filmed in 2024.
Intended for the future members of the SONMUN Secretariat, it delivers advice, free resources, and (somewhat) enjoyable Model UN humour for those wanting to lead their first Model UN conference. It is especially helpful for those kickstarting Model UN in small, underrepresented regions with limited Model UN culture. Now free for the public, it lives in its digital home—the First Mic Program.
